St Augustine Catholic Church and cemetery are located on Faussett Road in section 25 and 26 of Deerfield Township. The old part of the cemetery is in the northeast corner of Green and Faussett roads. The newer part of the cemetery is in the northwest corner of Green and Faussett roads next to the church. The road that you see in the photograph below is Green Road. The photographer was standing on the west side of Green Road looking east. Many of the families buried in this cemetery came to Deerfield during the Irish potato famine. A great number of their descendants are still a part of this parish. Included with the reading is a printable cemetery map. The map is laid out in rows and stones. The reading is presented in the same manner with the row number first and the stone number second. If the stone number is missing it was not on the map. This reading of the St Augustine cemetery was done by Patricia Morcom and Emma Winegarner in 2005.
