All of these graves have been marked by the Philip Livingston Chapter, Daughters of the

Claudius Britton Sr b 15 Sep 1761 CT; d 22 Feb 1850 MI and is buried in the Pinckney
Cemetery. He served from VT as a Scout for Capt Zadoc(t) Averis(t).

Lemuel Monroe b 1 Mar 1759 MA; d 27 Apr 1854 MI and is buried in Lake Cemetery in Marion
township. He served as a private from MA and was pensioned. The names of his first two

Willard Church b 7 Sep 1758 CT; d 17 Sep 1846 MI and is buried in the Hodge Cemetery,
Hartland Township. He served from Ct as a private and seaman. His wife was Sally (Sarah)

Ephraim Smith b 24 Sep 1740 ; d 7 Oct 1839 MI is buried in Lakeview
Cemetery, Howell. He served from CT as a private. His wife was

He served from NY as a corporal and was pensioned. His wives were (1) Eunice Chappel and (2)
